Floating Cities of North Yorkshire is a series of paintings exploring the contested landscape of the North York Moors and surrounding areas. The traditional landscape vistas are disrupted by floating architectonic forms, as oneiric urbanising elements. Each image explores a different architectural typology, with variations in form, massing and composition.
